• 06:00: Transfer Chiclayo - Cajamarca 6 hours approximately by road to the highlands.
• 12:00 : Chek in at the Hotel and time for lunch

  • Cathedral of Santa Catalina: baroque jewel carved in volcanic stone.
  • San Francisco and the Belén Complex: convent, church and colonial hospital.

• • Cuarto del Rescate: the only Inca vestige where Atahualpa offered to fill with gold and silver for his freedom. (Obligatory stop 🏛️).

• • Visit to the Cumbemayo Aqueduct, a pre-Inca hydraulic work more than 3,000 years old.
  • Hike through the Bosque de Piedras, volcanic formations in whimsical shapes (“frailones”, “zapato”, “perfil del Inca”).
  • Caves with petroglyphs and nature trails.
