Itinerary

Pick up from airport or bus terminal   08:30 a.m. departure from Chiclayo   Cathedral of Chiclayo In this majestic cathedral of neoclassical style, the then Bishop celebrated numerous Eucharists, confirmations and liturgical acts. It was here that much of his pastoral mission became visible. Bishopric of Chiclayo Here he resided and worked during his time as Bishop of the Diocese of Chiclayo. From this place he directed his pastoral, social and administrative work.  Virgen de la Paz Sanctuary A space where the current Pope used to promote moments of prayer and Marian reflection. The sanctuary, modern and welcoming, is one of the most important devotional centers in Chiclayo. Pimentel Beach Time to rest and optional lunch.   St. Peter's Church of Monsefu Monsefu was one of the districts where Bishop Prevost had direct contact with devout and humble communities. This traditional church represents the living faith of the northern people, where fervent patronal feasts are celebrated, such as that of St. Peter, patron saint of fishermen. Santa María Magdalena Church - Ciudad Eten In Eten, a deeply religious city, one of the most important Eucharistic miracles of Peru is honored. Monsignor Prevost accompanied many celebrations in this church, strengthening the cult of the Blessed Sacrament.  5:30 p.m. - Return to Chiclayo

Huaca Rajada  In this archaeological site, in 1987, the intact tomb of a Mochica ruler more than 1,700 years old was discovered. A finding that astonished the world. Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum  One of the most important museums in South America. Designed as a modern pyramid, this precinct houses the treasures of the Lord of Sipan and other figures of the Mochica elite. Brüning National Museum  A classic but essential museum. Here we expand the cultural vision with pieces from different civilizations: Mochica, Lambayeque, Chimú, Sicán and more.   Return to Chiclayo and transfer to the bus terminal or airport.
