Chiclayo Cathedral and Main Park We visit the majestic Cathedral of neoclassical style, in front of the Plaza de Armas. Here we will learn details about the founding of the city, its republican history and its evolution as an urban center of northern Peru. Paseo Yortuque We moved to this emblematic promenade, where murals and monumental sculptures narrate the history of the ancient Mochica culture and regional identity. A perfect place for photos and to connect with the ancestral memory of Lambayeque. Warlock Market - Mysticism and traditions We explore the famous esoteric market where traditional medicine, shamanism and ancestral beliefs are mixed. You can learn about medicinal plants, ritual objects and, if you wish, participate in a small demonstration with a local healer. Lunch at Pimentel Beach (on passenger's account) Pimentel Pier We will take a walk along the traditional wooden pier, one of the longest in Peru. Here you can take pictures with the famous caballitos de totora (if present) and enjoy a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. Santa Rosa Cove We approach this cove where artisanal fishing still persists. We will learn about their way of life, see the traditional boats up close, and understand how fishing continues to be a vital part of the local economy and culture. Return to Chiclayo (5:00 p.m. approx.) We end our tour with the return to the city.
Huaca Rajada In this archaeological site, in 1987, the intact tomb of a Mochica ruler more than 1,700 years old was discovered. A finding that astonished the world. Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum One of the most important museums in South America. Designed as a modern pyramid, this precinct houses the treasures of the Lord of Sipan and other figures of the Mochica elite. Brüning National Museum A classic but essential museum. Here we expand the cultural vision with pieces from different civilizations: Mochica, Lambayeque, Chimú, Sicán and more. Return to Chiclayo and transfer to the bus terminal or airport.
