We meet at the office in the Plaza de Armas to start our trip.
We begin the day visiting a local woman, an expert in the preparation of chicha de año, one of the most traditional beverages of the area. She will explain the preparation process and we will learn about the importance of this drink in daily and ceremonial life.
We arrive at the complex to begin our visit. Here we will visit: Cao Site Museum: where the funerary bundle and the remains of the Lady of Cao, a Mochica ruler who changed the vision of pre-Hispanic history, are preserved. Huaca Cao Viejo: with impressive murals depicting ritual scenes, warriors and symbols of power. Shamanic route: a tour that connects with the spaces of ritual and spirituality of the Moche culture.
